Back from a great day out at Stevenage -okay the ground and opposition were poor -but actually the atmosphere was good the steawards staff and even the police were friendly. There were a few nice touches - the mascot handing out easter eggs to the kids and photos of our players in the loos! It was great too to be able to park on an open piece of wasteland just across from the ground for nothing -back in the car to hear the classifieds read out!

All in all a very pleasant experince and credit to Stevenage who took their defeat and relegation with grace.

Clearly a club punching above their weight, but a nice little club I wish them well in league 2.

100% agreed. Friendly club, friendly staff, even got a cheery "enjoy the match" from the turnstyle operator.

Genuinely wish them all the very best for the future-unless they're playing us, of course ;)

Agree - it was a good day out at a very friendly club - despite the fact that they went down. Great to see a supporters bar advertised as being for both home and away fans, and no-one having a problem with fans mingling together outside it.

Really helpful stewards, inside and out, who were going out of their way to ask if people needed any help.

Hope they do well next season - they deserve it.

Does the restriction on our transfer budget apply to stewards?
