I need some advice. Taking my boy who is 4 and a half for the first time want him to be able to see the game where is the best stand to go in??

I know its obvious but possibly the family stand part of the Atyeo. Whilst not the best view, it as at least targeted at families with lower prices and I believe other family friendly things eg standing and swearing not tolerated, the man dressed up as a robin etc.

No swearing apart from that's right next to the away fans.

For Colchester who will barely bring 200 it should be fine though, wouldn't recommend it for Swindon ha

I am firmly of the belief that right next to the away support is the wrong place for a "family area". Don't want to get started on it particularly but feels like the club are deliberately trying to stifle the atmosphere. Can you imagine if we get promoted playing Cardiff/Leeds/Millwall with the family area there right next to 1/2000+ of them? Ludicrous!

Decided to go for Dolman F block near the front. My boys first game so hopefully he will enjoy it, will make sure I have plenty of food and drink for him!

And you may want to ensure your phone is fully charged with games on it or take a computer device that will keep him occupied when he gets bored......

Good point TM. Maybe the Ipad for him then!

Yeah that's a good idea.... I take my nephew who is 4 1/2... he lasts about 25/30 minutes in each half then the boredom kicks in....... Also I try too ensure that he walks/moves about at half time...... breaks up the time that he is there while also making him understand that the second half starting again means he has too sit still again..... ;)

May have this wrong but I thought the family area was in Atyeo Block H with the away fans at the other end of the stand?  Therefore not "right next" to each other?

Just checked and this is indeed the case - away fans Blocks B, C, D, then blocks E, F, G, then family enclosure Block H.
