The kit the right colour this time (cough shorts FIFA 14 wrong cough) All three kits in the game? Maybe an historic kit? Our FIFA rivals now that no Conference is included? Reckon kit will be there or there abouts, if we were in the championship reckon there could have been a chance of the purple and lime but not being in league 1. 'Ashton Gate' (well the generic stadium we get given) to be much smaller. Reckon it will be Swindon or Yeovil. Doubt it will be Cardiff as they have Swansea as their one to link to. True but let's not forget this Tottenham rivals are Arsenal Chelsea rivals are Arsenal Arsenal rivals are Tottenham So it could be Cardiff regardless. Spike Posted August 22, 2014 Report Share Posted August 22, 2014 Any test model will be around 3 weeks out of date and will not be retail version so transfers may not be updated etc. The beta was released today and as I tried it I found things like the Leicester kit had not been put in yet and that many things were slightly out of date. Back with FIFA 11 EA flew me out to playtest the game at their studios in Canada and knowing their routines they burn so many different versions for various events and they are always behind as they're still working on it up until around 2-3 weeks before release, from that point forward they work on a pre-release patch to keep things up to date and then release that the day or two before release so no mattter what info you get now it'll be behind by retail release. What I will say about the beta is the pitch deterioration looks pretty nice, as always they've added some nice animations and movement feels quite smooth but for me the same problems still linger, overpowered through balls, bad "lock on" to a loose ball, collisions are still a bit erratic etc. They still have around a week or so to work on retail release and then the three weeks to bring it up to date and add improvements for the patch so hopefully the feedback they get will help them address these issues but I'm not holding my breath. Picked Swansea City as I wanted to see one of the new stadiums, who do I get matched up against? Of course, Swansea City. Really does a lot for the realism, that. First ball into the box - headed goal. Just like FIFA 14, basically just spam crosses and you'll score goals. I then had a man sent off for a shirt pull outside the box, even though 2 of my defenders were goalside of the attacker. Then he scored two more, both as a result of apalling GK AI, which was the one area they said had been totally revamped. Ha! First one - their player goes clean through, my GK comes charging off his line even though I'm not pressing the button which does that. He then doesn't even dive and just stands there as the opponent shoots and scores. Second one - "finesse" shot from outside the box, nice curve on it, but it never goes more than a foot to the keeper's side, and is about 2 inches above him. He literally stands there and watches it go past him into the net! So far, so good! Tried playing a game as City but there's only around 200 people playing and obviously everyone is choosing 5 star teams so I can't even get a game. Same old..... The trouble is they made it really frustrating to play with poor teams in online seasons in 14. Been trying to get a game with City in 15 for 20 minutes now and no luck! Lucky to be an Xbox One owner with your Legends, betas and all, gotta sit with my PS4 waiting.. waiting.. from what I've seen it looks ok, with the presentation being the best thing I've seen on the beta.
