BA12RED Posted August 20, 2014 Report Share Posted August 20, 2014 I'm expecting some sarcastic or negative comments here so I may as well say that this is just a hopeful post really. Having been an 'Eastender' for many years now I was as sad as everyone else to see our beloved stand depart as well as the banter and atmosphere it came with. It was always my intention to renew my season ticket and sit anywhere in the Williams Stand Blocks E or D with friends I had met and made and familiar/friendly faces from over the year who also moved from the Wedlock. The reason I am asking for advice is that due to a family member falling seriously ill I never got round to renewing my membership in time and subsequently when I got round to it I was told where I wanted to sit/stand was 'sold out'. Fair enough I have seen the E block is fairly full and so is D however I have been told by friends there IS plenty of space in the lower rows that haven't been sold. In addition to this I've seen that the individual who set off a flare on Saturday has been banned. Is that a space? Some of you may moan about this and just say 'tough' or that it's my fault for being too slow and fair enough I agree. However I believe that if you don't ask you don't get. So onto my main question (the advice) - who would I talk to about getting my current seat moved into a space in E block IF possible? She is brilliant, I've spoken to her several times and she has been beyond helpful and so nice too. If she is unable to help then it's simply not possible. A real credit to the club.
