Take a look at the games played though - two of Peterboroughs wins have come against MKD & Bradford, teams who are otherwise unbeaten and had they drawn with Peterborough instead of losing by the odd goal would now be top themselves. Of course the notion of a curse on the winner of Manager of the Month is absurd: it only seems to be the case that MOTM winners lose matches because they are bound to be on the crest of a good run which is statistically probable to come to an end shortly.
