Cringing listening to this! Pleading to get sacked..

Always liked Adams but thats the way football goes...Port Vale decent side in getting promo a couple of seasons ago , stayed in league 1 last season as is a must for any promoted side , but got off to a bad start .

Christ , these reporters ask such crap and fair play for his honesty..but how must the fans , players and chairman feel hearing this with a possible relegation battle in the future . Never know , as George Michael sang ' turn a different corner ' and a spurt like Sheff Utd and City in the last third of last season might see them rise from todays despair . Hope he keeps his job but...................does ' nt look good in todays football .

Given Vales terrible run of form I thought Adams was as honest as it gets. Dopey interviewer didn't help either.

There's a thread on here about team spirit and how City's winning squad is full of it. The Port Vale squad are as low on confidence after 6 consequetive defeats.

Ultimately team spirit stems from getting regular good results.

Didn't we get him the sack beating him as cov manager in fa cup

Just about to add that cheering thought for Adams. Remember joining in singing "You're getting sacked in the morning" at the Ricoh. Brilliant day out that was. Tremendous breakaway goal by Enoch.

The most mystifying part of football - How does a team and manager gradually lose the plot. What are the sports psychologists doing to justify being paid at Football Clubs while all this is going on?

I believe our present good fortune/luck/ethos, whatever must be down to what you would expect in any buzzing social group - the presence of key individuals who inspire the others

Might also be down to an inspired pre-season trip to Botswana organised by SL. Fair play to Steve - it was an unusual project and may just have inspired the most unusual season start by BCFC in a Century?

Seemed quite honest to be honest. The interviewer didn't really help in all honesty. Made some good points but a needless and pretty desperate swipe at our transfer dealings!

Does anyone know where Adams is based? A white range rover belted passed me on the motorway on the way home last night with the number plate M 4DAMS. Surely had to be old Micky boy. Seemed in a rush that's for sure. Maybe trying to get as far away from Ryan McGivern as fast as possible!?
