Vincent Vega
Just wonder if today's result will make us more determined for next weeks visit of MK Dons..?
Fun_Guy
I reckon so. Still a small (very small) amount of tinkering to do, & whilst we are all disappointed now, this will prob look a good point end of season. BUT very big game next week & Cotts & team Will be ready
P'head Red
Yeah i think in some ways the team needed to be brought down to reality, we could have prevented this draw by taking our chances and not lapsing in concentration. Hopefully we can come out and beat a team who are scoring for fun, and it could be a case of who can score more next Saturday. Heads still very high, 5 points clear and still unbeaten. Robbored
A draw away from home is never a bad result but having been two goals up and then dropping two points could have had a demoralising effect particularly on the defence. That said I have no doubt that Cotterill will immediately have started lifting any downbeat faces on the coach back to Briz and by the time the MK Dons show up all will be rosy again. BITW
We should take confidence in being unbeaten and getting 4pts from two tough away games. Just keep playing the way we have been and results will take care of themselves.
tunnie123
I always say if I would have taken a draw beforehand it shouldn't matter about what happened during the game we got the point we would all be happy with! And if you want to look at it a different way you could say we were 1-0 at one point and I bet 90% would have taken a draw at that point! As long as we stay unbeaten I'm a happy man! Guest
Perspective as well - scored 9 goals in last 3 games and have 21 points after 9 games.. Who'd have taken 18-20 points after 10 games? Most of us.
The Casual Connoisseur
All very well and all but, were any of you at the game. It was a case of being tactically outwitted in both halves at vital moments. Plus side, Agard got a brace and should have had 4 but he Baldocked two in the first half (one on ones). GrahamC
This time last season we had 4 points. A few of the usual suspects may love the chance to have a pop at Cotterill but back in the real world we're doing brilliantly. It was a pisser that we lost a 3-1 lead today but 1 defeat in 22 league games will do me.
RedM
I suppose that's a sign of the high standards that they have set themselves if they, and us, are rueing dropping 2 points. Not so long ago we would have folded after letting one goal in, never mind clawing back a draw and even taking the lead. Another thing to remember also is a Fleetwood weren't going to roll over. They are out to win games too and have the positivity of promotion which made us buoyant in the Championship a while ago.
Cotham Brow Red
Balance is the key here now. Ok 3-1 up and ended up 3-3. Dissapointed a little but the best start in over 100 years rolls on Ok SC needs to address a few things of course he does the ship hit bad water today and the skip needs to navigate her back on course, but this happens in small ways after every single match. We got away with a match winner at the death a few weeks back with the pen. Today we surrendered a 3-1 up to get only a point. It is not that bad Blige 12 months ago we be celebrating a draw away even if we were 2 goals clear. I said in another thread about being tested over complacency. We'll maybe today was it. Guarantee SC put a rocket to our defense who have other than today been emense recently but had a gentle reminder by fleetwood. It's still all very much cool in the gang and every game were getting points lovely, but also every game we keep on the unbeaten run the pressure mounts on our 11 to keep that going. We can't jump on them when we blip because it will happen sooner rather than later. I reiterate best start in the league in over 100 years. To have ago at a manager for no reason is pathetic, theres a lot of constructive criticism aimed at SC, it's a measure of how well we are doing. If he was any better he'd be at a bigger club, a great start is rare for city, lets hope he can learn by his mistakes but carry on hi excellent form. Seemed to take the foot of the gas when the third went in. Almost like it was to easy. Hopefully conceding the win will them on there toes for next week.
