Chivs Posted September 21, 2014 Report Share Posted September 21, 2014 My* ratings are as follows: Fielding: Nothing he could do about the goals but his distribution and kicking needs improvement 6 Ayling: Good control but occasionally looked exposed 6 Flint: Like a rock, and not a Blackpool stick of rock (or flint) 7 Williams: Classy but occasional mis-distribution 7 Little: Looked good going forward but left Ayling a bit exposed 6 Bryan: Great crosses but again not backing up Williams 6 Elliot: Played some sublime football but faded towards the end 6 Smith: Everywhere! Looks the real deal 7 Wilbraham: Good control and worked well with Agard 7 Agard: Took his two goals well but could have scored a couple more 6 MOM was the Fleetwood staff who had poured the pints before the half time whistle meaning everyone was served in a timely fashion. *Please bear in mind that I didn't actually go to the game. Couple of wayward kicks but made one brilliant tip over the bar and looked pretty decent. Ayling - 8. Had a solid game and really composed when on the ball as usual Flint - 6 Played well enough but he has had better games this year Williams - 6 see flint Smith - 7 great vision and composure and put himself about although lost the ball a few times in dangerous positions Elliott - 5 Not his best game, gave the ball away on several occasions although him and Bryan did well from the corner for second goal Little - 5 didn't do as much as usual in an attacking sense and can get caught out defensively. Bryan - 7 Great crossing all game and all round good performance Freeman - 7 Played well enough and at times dictated the game but sometimes lacked end product Wilbraham - 6 got his goal but was beaten in the air several times Agard - 8. Excellent all game, ok so he missed a couple of chances but he worked hard his touch and hold up play was better than in recent games, and he kept them occupied all game with runs in behind, not to mention two goals. Can't disagree with that. Thought Elliot had his poorest game so far, more down to tactics than anything else, cold have had an oh if it wasn't for FF great reflex save.
