Quote:

Tan also says if and when Cardiff return to the Premier League, he might consider selling the club.

"If I sell Cardiff I would buy another club in the UK,"

"I'm looking to buy another club in Europe and then I may invest in a club in the US, the MLS (Major League Soccer)."

Surely no club in their right mind would touch him with a barge pole! Not after what he has done to Cardiff.

The guys a grade A **** and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near another club.

What exactly has Tan done wrong bar change colours?

- Changed the badge

- Shown no respect for history and tradition of the club, or the genuine supporters

- Thinly veiled threats to leave if the fans disagree with anything he does

- Meddled with team affairs

- Appointed a work experience guy as head of recruitment

- Given the club huge debts owed to him

- Made them a laughing stock

...and that's just off the top of my head!

That said, as others have said, the vast majority of Cardiff fans only started protesting when the team was on a downer, not when they were heading towards the premier league, so they have zero sympathy from me.

It's the small minority who walked away I feel sorry for.

That's not the point

They were prepared to put up with a colour change on condition of further funding.  Red or dead they were told.  They rolled over and let him do it, without a whimper.  Now they're in more debt than when he started, still in red and in the championship.  Only now are they finding a pair.

cardiff were more then happy to laugh at us when they pasted us in the league only to cry foul when he started to make the changes he wanted to the club,

Cardiff fans have themselfs to blame for not protesting the changes,

Hull's owner wanted to change their name whollop protests and he had to stop,

Tan is a business man he isn't intrested in the history of a club or how the fans feel, he only wants to make money

Well good luck to him in that.

Successful business men are not investing in football clubs to make money, surely they are not that daft? Seldom does a football club run at a profit. They are doing it for the status quo and/or to give back to the community.

I think its the massive amounts of cash the prem brings plus he has the east asia market which is massive,

on paper they won't run at a profit cus he will take the cash out like olson does at blackpool

There's no money to take out- it's a one way street for virtually all clubs including Man C and Chelski= and no protests there!

You're right about the Malaysia angle although I'm really not sure that SE Asia has really embraced all things Baadiff

I don't know one single Cardiff fan who has walked away and I know the most die hard of bluebird/red dragons, trust me.

When they were in the prem the colour and badge change problem fizzled out to a degree. The man has given a club with a pretty dire history the ultimate glory, premier league football, he's not popular but in time that'll fade, especially if he gets them back to the "promised land".

At first I thought he'd rape them, strip them of all assets on relegation but it seems he's there to stay and IMHO that only means continued success.

Plus I like that he changed their identity and made them a laughing stock, it somehow softens the fact that at the moment they are light years ahead of us.

I tend to agree with you here, a lot on here take the moral high ground against Cardiff but I have no doubt while not universally happy much like Cardiff fans, a good 70% of our support would soon forget if we were mixing it up with the prem elite...I genuinly believe if people can't see this then they are very blinkered

I think if City changed from red to blue, there'd be a ******* riot!
