OddBallJim
After discussing this with some mates down the pub I thought I might put it to the otib crew, who do you think will be the suprise package and who is going to under achieve in our league this year? Major Isewater
It would n't be a surprise package if we anticipated a teams success now would it ? and OK for the Blunts.
RedBrizzleRobin
I reckon Rochdale could be dark horses for the playoffs, gave us a good game and smashed a few other teams 4-0 already. Alot better than people were thinking, including a few of our own. From what I've heard, Peterborough aren't the team of recent years despite them being 2nd at the moment, so I think they'll struggle to maintain a playoff place and be out of them by season's end. JamesBCFC
I said at the start of the season that i didnt think Leyton orient would do as well as people expected so il stick with that
Super
Shouldn't this discussion be before the season actually starts?
RedBrizzleRobin
Shouldn't this discussion be before the season actually starts? Possibly, but at that point none of us would actually know anything about most of the teams and would be a completely uneducated guess. Kind of hard to have an opinion on where they will finish when you can't name a single players in some teams squads without looking, just saying

pongo88
Oldham to be surprise and on current form Leyton Orient really as their squad was being considered the best in the league by some fansI agree with this. Little Lee has put together a good team on a small budget and Orient aren't as good this season as last
Robin1988
Oldham to be surprise and on current form Leyton Orient really as their squad was being considered the best in the league by some fans Don't think Oldham have the fire power, that seems to be the consensus from up there anyway. But they'll certainly do ok, look a well-drilled outfit under LJ.
Slacker
Can we please avoid using the term "surprise package". Apart from that one incident though I heartily recommend Thailand as a holiday destination!

The Casual Connoisseur
Preston to win the league as for underachieving, being in this league is bad enough. Too early to say.

Leveller
Well put Well put but not correct. At the start of the season, City were most peoples' favourites for promotion. It's just that "most people" didn't include many City fans! So we wouldn't be a surprise package if we carried on doing well.
And Its Smith
Kelly deemed as okay so far by the Oldham fans I know. They miss Korey Smith! They have James Wilson and Elokobi as centre halves and apparently both doing very well. As Brian Wilson has played every game. As someone above says, it is fire power letting them down but they are doing well for their budget.
