Dressing Room

Think we can safely say that SC has got the dressing room on side and to nearly a healthy balance.

I say nearly, as I believe a one more departure (Jet) and the harmony of the dressing room will be near on right.

No doubting his ability one bit, but his attitude during his career all points to a player who will have wasted the ability he's got- prem to championship to L1.

Man management wise, SC has been spot on imo hence why I think we find is where we are.

Quality and ability of current squad would struggle in the championship I feel, though what they do have is "togetherness" which if you put 11 players in that will run there selves into the ground for 90 minutes, then at times, that will bring you results against so called better players/teams

Appreciate if you could give examples of his bad attitude?

 .......another dig at JET thread, magic!

Please expain what you know or believe JET has done/not done to have an effect on the dressing room harmony

At no time has he come out in the media to complain at the lack of game time and yet has contributed 3 assists in the little time he has played

'run there selves into the ground for 90 minutes' will not in itself bring or maintain success..........

OoRya- I'd suggest falling from grace from Prem to being a part time player at L1 tells you that his attitude towards his career isn't the best.

As I said previously, don't doubt his ability.

RedRaw- Results without Jet is proof.....

Re "running there selves into the ground" will at TIMES get you results, also it's a platform and a must for any team wishing to do well.

Plus, for me, a player or team that does this consistently will always have my backing through thick and thin

JeT doesn't look like a man whop is disruptive or unhappy,

in-fact when he came on tuesday I personally thought he put in the effort that is required to push someone else out of the team, he keeps doing that and he will be selected,

I was in the dressing room pre-match agaisnt Notts County last season, we werent in the best postions and we were not safe and I can tell you that these guys get on there was no huddles or exclusion of players,

If its like that when we are struggling then it must be like living in a cider factory with free access to as much cider and clarks pies as you like

You are making a assumption based on nothing,

Never assume, it makes an ass of u and me,

He doesn't put in the effort we all know that its there to be seen, but he's far from disruptive

A bit contradictive your last two posts re effort.

Have I said disruptive anywhere??

Said attitude.

Re harmony, why would SC leave our so called best player (gifted) out of the starting 11 week in week out unless his "attitude" was not to the required standard of a cohesive winning team????

I would suggest it was more his 'style of play' rather than attitude tbh.

because the line up he is playing haven't actually lost this season in the league so there hasn't been any need to change it,

I haven't condriticted myself ether I said tuesday he shown the kind of effort required previous to this he hasn't,

If he put the effort in (its not his game) he would have the number 10 shirt at arsenal because he is that talented,

He's never had an attudie that you make assumptions at, there is no evidance of this, if he did he wouldn't even be in the squad and would of been bombed out, SC doesn't suffer fools,

Seemed to be happy laughing and joking with the other players/coaches when warming up before the game on Tuesday, and regardless of his performances, I don't think he's displayed anything to suggest he's a problem for moral and dressing room atmosphere.

Why start speculating on him being a bad egg?  Because he's been a Premiership player?  So was Wilbraham; does this mean he's got an attitude problem too?

The team is on a breathtakingly good start to the season so JET can't get in the team; doesn't automatically make him disruptive.

Also, to add to that; he arrived at Ipswich just before they got shot of the manager who signed him, and according to fans I know (and know well) of that side, he was actually one of the most dedicated players at trying to impress the new boss, and worked hard being played out of position and when dropped to try and get back in the team.

No one I know has ever suggested he had an attitude problem, and it is more that managers simply haven't found ways of working him into their teams.

But great to see that we're happy to sling mud at our own players based on our own baseless opinions.  Classy.

his best postion is the false 9 postion drifting between midfield and up front linking up play and generally doing what he wants, he played that well after a shit 30 minutes against cheltenham, and did well in the 25 minutes against bradford,

Behave will you, Prem to a bench player at a L1 club, seems to suggest something is not right would you agree?

And that, would be..... Wait for it..... Attitude!!!

Do you honestly think a player with his ability and right/good attitude would have gone from being highly rated at Arsenal to a bench player at a L1 club??

Hmmm

IMO he has shown nothing but a complete professional attitude this season and has accepted being a team player with open arms....  he provides something from the bench that no other team in our league has got.... as he has shown.... well done big lad I say

Have to agree. In the few minutes he has played there has certainly been no lack of effort. When given his chance to start against Cheltenham he played really well and in the interview after said that he was trying to push back into the team but the team was playing so well it was difficult.

Hell- we even saw him lose the ball before chasing back and putting in a great challenge that led to our opener that night.

If I'm honest I get the feeling (looking at things like his twitter account) that he actually likes it here and is well liked in the dressing room.

He will get his chance eventually and I for one expect him to take it- He oozes goals at this level.

You said getting rid of him would give the dressing room perfect harmony.  The implication being JET's presence is disruptive.

You are talking bollocks.

I'd go as far as saying utter bollocks!

And another pointless jibe at a a player that when has come on has added to the game, with at least 3 assists, plus some great tracking back.

Fourth Post....Slag JET! Welcome aboard fella!

JET is a good player of that there is no doubt! Enigma? Possibly! But it is worth remembering back when we were sh1t, this time last season, he single handedly would win us what points we were getting, which was crucial as if we had fallen to far behind we would of never of got out of the trouble we were in!

One day he will find a manager and a club that will bring the best out in him and to be frank I'm not sure it wont be Bristol City. Lets be honest he is one player that anyone can tell would be a good player at a higher level and as such his ability to open defences could become key!

When he is on the field the statoes will tell you he is involved in someway in nearly every goal we score and I hope the boy gets a fair crack of the whip soon!

There's only one reason JET hasn't started this season, and that's because we haven't been changing our unbeaten team.

Cant see how this squad would struggle in the Championship. It needs strengthening in a few areas but this team is better than our play off final team - on ability.

Don't buy this nonsense yet again. Why does everyone keep saying he would great at a higher level? Based on what exactly?

I am actually a fan of his but there Is nothing to suggest he would be great in a higher league.
