Cant help but like mvg not a bellend like taylor. Class act.

..and Anderson absolute class in defeat.  The more these types win it keeps the bellends like Taylor and Lewis away...

Huybrets in the PL Darts. Not sure I agree with that but pretty crazy lineup otherwise

Not sure Huybrets is in for his darts ability? He rubs people up the wrong way. Having said that last time he was in he did all right.

Only one I would prob disagree with myself. I could def see Chizzy and Wade in again and Klassen. But Huybrechts? I can see him being elimated straight away. Rather have seen Gurney in tbh.

I still think Lakeside is the home of darts.. I also think the crowd is less lads lads!

First leg I watched today and someone needed double 1

Watched Jim Williams yesterday and he looked ok. Nailed on he will be PDC next year

Both organisations have a role to play.

Uncle Barry sold out and makes lots of players rich. The prem league and the move from the circus tavern changed darts forever.

The BDO are a bit stuck in the past however they run the vast majority of pub leagues etc and do a fantastic job at that bringing players through.

Calling the winner of the lakeside world champion is a bit silly now but the winners of this year's superbowl will crowned world champions as well

I'm not 100% sure about why the PDC formed out of the BDO but I saw Eric Bristow on a documentary a while back saying that at the time he didn't feel the hierarchy in the BDO weren't very proactive in promoting darts on the TV and led an exodus of players into the newly formed BDO.

Im not sure when Barry Hearn got involved but it's down to his business acumen by introducing Sky as a media platform that made darts what we see today.

The rest is history.....

Have to admit it's going to be strange without Taylor love him or hate him. How exactly can it be fixed for Taylor to win?

It can't.

Personally would love to see him go out with a bang, but can't see past MVG, probably against Anderson or Wright in the Final.
