He works hard and gets into some good positions but I feel that City need to sign a new forward in January. His main problem is poor ball control and he's muscled of the ball far too easily. I'd prefer to have him on the bench so that he could be an impact sub in the latter stages of a game if necessary.

I do think he is slightly flat footed and relies on his pace a bit too much. If he could run the channels like Jon Stead he'd create a lot more opportunities for himself and others. But if he did that he'd be playing for a lot better than us!

Generally a good signing though and a good personality to have around.

Good bit of business and does the business- real live wire who draws in defenders which is partially responsible for Wilbs getting in positions to score- without it actually being an assist.

Another striker is an absolute must in Jan and I'm really struggling with Matt Smith as the answer.

I like him. Yes he hasn't been prolific but he doesn't go 5-6 games without scoring. Think he'll finish off with around 16-19 goals this season. Which is decent, should we go up though.... not sure he will get as many.

Overall very happy and another good bit of business by Cotterill, although I do with KA would finish having his hair cut....

Personally I don't think he would cut it in the Championship. By that I mean score 12-15 goals which you need one of your strikers to do in order to not be involved in a relegation battle. I know there are probably exceptions to that, just generalising.

One of those exceptions would be us in 07/08, top scorer Byfield with just 8! A solid defence/team unit can get you a long way...
