havanatopia
Bottom versus Top; how much of the form book and the league position do we rip up for this one? Who wants it more City or Crewe? You can really only see one winner can you not? That takes nothing away from a team desperate for points but, and here is where it sounds like bravado, Crewe are hardly City only 12 months ago. Has to be the most nailed on 3 points of the entire season and, as much as i admire the academy of Crewe and really hope they stay up, i would like to order a hammering today please. 0-4 or 1-3 if you don't mind. I think it is time Smith and Agard got a goal or two and the usual Wilbs strike and one out of the unknown like Little maybe. Hasta la vista desde Vigan, el norte de Luzon... about as close a place to old Havana as you are gonna get. 1 Quote Link to comment
JBFC
I can see a scrappy 2-1 win, with a Freeman 90th minute winner Quote Link to comment
dandare 1966
3-1 city. We are top of the leauge by writes and there we will stay Quote Link to comment
22A
It used to be a popular quiz question; "Name all five football league teams with a X in their name". The answer was Halifax, Oxford, Exeter, Wrexham and Crewe. Crewe are the only one not to have dropped into the Conference yet. For those without tickets, no need to POTD. Turn left on leaving the railway station and near the junction of Nantwich Road and Gresty Lane there is a set of railings where you can stand on the pavement and look through and see about 85% of the pitch. 1 Quote Link to comment
HoldenBall
Won't be comfortable this at all, I hope the players don't think they just have to show up and win. I'm going 1-1. Edited December 20, 2014 by Iron Man Quote Link to comment
The Fat Controller
With absolutely no disrespect to Crewe at all (who, like others, I admire as a club), we need to be winning these games if we have any intention of being promoted. I'll take any sort of win today, even if we have to grind out a 1-0. Quote Link to comment

Garland-sweden
If we play as we use and I think so we win 2-0. Coyr Quote Link to comment
Kid in the Riot
Glad to see Flint come out and state the importance of an early goal. We need to start faster than we did last week. Crewe have scored the least, and conceded the most goals in the division. Difficult to make a case for anything other than a City win. Quote Link to comment
ChippenhamRed
An away performance in the Peterborough mould would see us win comfortably. Hoping that's what we get. Quote Link to comment
Malago
As always, an early goal will lead to a comfortable win. The longer it goes without scoring, the more tense it will get. The last time we went up, we scored the winner there in injury time, when the ball bounced off of Showumni's shin and dribbled over the line. Quote Link to comment
Stubbsy1993
2-1 City, another late winner i reckon. Agard and Freeman. Quote Link to comment
BCFC RED
Odds currently at 1.6 for a City win on Betfair Quote Link to comment
ten minutes of rough
3-1 city. We are top of the leauge by writes and there we will stay Right league wrong spelling. Quote Link to comment
OldlandReddies
Said last week that we would get 6 so I'm going to say we will not score today. Quote Link to comment
Manon
Can't see swindon dropping points today, although they will have to soon. Would be nice to make it at least xmas still top. Quote Link to comment

Would be nice to make it at least xmas still top. If swindon or any of the others get more points than us in the 2nd half of the season , then i will say fair play to them , ( well not the fair bit in swindons case ) my moneys on the city , nailed on win today Quote Link to comment
TETBURY MASSIVE
I fancy a 2-0 win. Agard & Elliott. I also think we could make a couple of changes too the starting line up. Quote Link to comment
Aussie
I think it will be a draw and we won't be top at 4:45pm. Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
Reckon this will be a lot closer than league table suggests. Crewe have Nicky Ajose in on loan and he is a dangerous player at this level (reckon he would have been a good addition for us), but still going for a City win 1-2. Quote Link to comment
...
3-0, possibly 4-0 to City. Crewe cannot live with our tempo or movement, nor can they cope with our front two. City top for Xmas. TFR P.S. Might be an early Xmas pressie from Swindle too .................. Quote Link to comment
Aizoon
You can get a Crewe win at 5/1. That is pretty hefty for a home team in the same division. Bit useless as they're going to lose 0-3 of course.. Might be worth a punt to put the kibosh on them Quote Link to comment
...
We love you City, we do, we love you City, we do, we love you City, we do - oh City we love you. TFR Quote Link to comment
