SuperFly2002
I know that Wade was on the bench yesterday, but is he injured ? He was involved in a lot of pre match media 'hype' (and so he should be being club captain) but was strangely anonymous yesterday ? If this has been covered elsewhere apologies . . . . . I've been away for the weekend with only limited web access.
The Fat Controller
Just rested, I'd imagine. He's 36 and we're playing a lot of games at the moment.
redcherryberry
He's been poor for a while now so no surprise to me he was omitted from the first 11.
Admin phantom Posted January 26, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted January 26, 2015 Just rested, I'd imagine. He's 36 and we're playing a lot of games at the moment. Of the three games this week, yesterday was the least important - keep him back for the next two games

Roger Red Hat
He's been poor for a while now so no surprise to me he was omitted from the first 11. I agree. Wade has been out of form since his suspension.
Red-Robbo
I agree. Wade has been out of form since his suspension. Agreed. And, I might add, Saville gave us a slightly more physical presence in the centre of the field. Was quite impressed with what I saw from GS. He did nothing spectacular, but tidied up loose balls, broke up play, ushered the ball upfield with non-flashy short passes.
Guest
At his age knocks etc will take longer to recover and regaining match fitness after an absence will also be an uphill climb. I think, whether or not he has the ability to, this could be his last season.

Mad Cyril
Was quite impressed with what I saw from GS. He did nothing spectacular, but tidied up loose balls, broke up play, ushered the ball upfield with non-flashy short passes. Well he's stuffed then. Only a matter of time before he gets the Skuse/Johnson/Kilkenny hate mail.
