Some information that has come to light about travelling into London on Sunday 22nd March

If you find anything else out that should be shared please PM me and I will add it onto this page.

BOARDING AT BRISTOL TEMPLE MEADS

There will be a queuing system in place at BTM so if you are aiming for a specific train give yourself plenty of time to get there as even if you have a reservation you have to take your place in the queue!!.

The Ambassadors at BTM have also confirmed that the queue will be through the old station area, and the car park that leads toward the Knights Templar area. The queue is planned to go through the staff gates that are alongside Bonapartes cafe and then onto the waiting trains.

TRAIN DIVERSION FROM BTM - PADDINGTON

There is currently maintenance planned between Bath and Chippenham.

This means that trains will be leaving WSM / BTM at different times to the normal Sunday timetable !

What it also means is that the journey time will be approx 30 minutes longer as the train is being diverted via Bradford on Avon (but doesn't stop there)

The line from Bristol Parkway to Paddington is NOT affected by this.

Birmingham - Stratford-upon-Avon - Banbury - High Wycombe - London Marylebone:

The line between Banbury and High Wycombe is also closed.

No trains will run between Banbury and High Wycombe.

2 trains per hour will run between Marylebone and High Wycombe for connecting bus services to Banbury.

Bus replacement service will run between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).

Bicester Village passengers are advised to use Chiltern Railways services and bus replacement services between High Wycombe and Banbury.

Due to the JPT Final. Some services will be retimed and some services will call additionally at Wembley Stadium station.

For those travelling via Baker Street - take note of this. Clearly a freak accident, but not worth taking any chances.

There is a big curve at Baker Street getting on the Metropolitan line
