Assists - Take A Bow

Official site has Bryan on 8, Freeman 10?

JB did fantastically well for the first goal on Tuesday but obviously Agard gets the assist. He's been instrumental all season, wonderful to watch.

Gotta give a mention to ex-City loanee Stephen McLaughlin who got 7 assists in 13 games for Notts C, that's good going!

That was Chivs I think. Don't think he gets football

Ouch.  It was me!

I didn't state that Bryan isn't an important member of the team.  I said that I don't get why people keep giving him MOTM awards.

For sure, 9 assists is useful but it doesn't describe how Bryan often disappears for 20 mins a game, often jogs back when he should be sprinting and often marks no-one when he should be picking someone up.  Defensively, he barely warrants a mention let alone a MOTM award!

If you understood football you'd know that his role is far more than providing assists.

Perhaps Steve Cotterill, who picks him every week, should come to you for advice!!

Which bit of what I said do you not agree with?

When Steve calls, I'll tell him to keep picking Bryan as he is our best player in that position.  It's just that he's behind 4 others for MOTM.

A big factor with Joe Bryan is his ability to vary how he crosses the ball,  On the other flank Little can only hit a low cross that's often cut out by opposition defenders. Joe also often reaches passes that look like a lost cause and somehow turns them into a good goal scoring opportunity,

If he was as defensively poor and lazy as you suggest he would not even get near this Bristol City side. In a 3-5-2 the wing backs are the two most important players at both ends of the pitch. It couldn't work without them making a contribution at both ends.
