If only we could add Caulker, Murray and Maynard to this squad with Heaton or Basso and Adomah.

 

We'd probably be promoted by now.

 

I reckon Hartley and Sno would have been good in our current formation as well.

I thought Sno was going to be quality when he first signed but didnt think he lived up to this when he actually played for us unfortunately 

 

Too often played out of position.

 

If I could add 5 players from the past 10 years to our current squad, I'd go

 

Heaton, Carey, Hartley, Sno and Maynard.

Heaton, Orr, Bikey, Caulker, Bryan, K.Cisse, K.Smith, Hartley, Adomah, Maynard, Freeman, I know Cisse isn't mentioned much but I always rated him. Sat in the middle well and had an element of control about him; was sad to see him go. Andre Bikey and Caulker would have been a solid CB pairing.

Johnson signed Sno then didn't know what to do with him. Played on the left wing quite regularly if I recall, he'd be fantastic in our midfield 3 with Smith and Freeman

Anyway, I'd say

Basso

Bryan

Orr

Flint

Caulker

Smith

Fantastic is a big shout. I don't remember him saving many, and surely it's a goalie's responsibility to marshal a defence - or at least partly. Then as soon as we got relegated, he jumped ship. Nah, Heaton was OK but for me Basso was better

I think Sno was far better than many gave him credit.

 

GJ played him out wide too often but I saw him play centrally with Hartley at Leicester and he was tremendous. For a big guy he rarely headed the ball but was able to bring the ball down on his chest from amazing heights.

He was Fantastic and is having a very good season at Burnley. Basso had a great defence in front of him when he was here.

Im sorry but how you can have Cisse in your best city team is absolute criminal.
