It Really Is Mental

Recommended Posts

of course I don't blame the players, but really if Theo thinks he has earned a big rise, Arsenal should stand up to him and let him be a pampered sick note elsewhere.

S'pect Arsenal have weighed up the pros and cons of the employment status of Theo Wilcott.

I suspect, if they do offer it to him, it is in order that he doesn't move to their rivals and potentially go on to better Arsenal. For which they will regret it and also be criticised.

I agree "it sucks, the whole system sucks!".

Would love to see the people of this country take a stand and boycott, but it has now gone global too.

Dont blame sky for putting loads of money into football

Blame the chairman of the top clubs

Its how they have spent the money which has F####d up football

This is very true, football as whole could and should have benefited from all of the filthy lucre, the premier league could and should have distributed it better.

Man in angling for pay rise shock

And

Wealthy man in owning expensive car shock

It's pretty vulgar but it's hardly unique in being an insensitive flaunting of wealth by a footballer

indeed you are correct but especially in the case of Fletcher it goes beyond insensitive given the publicity another vastly overpaid below average Premier League boxing partner of Rooney got over another ill judged moment when he was at Sunderland.

What I love as Rooney once proved in his braindead live comment after another England world cup flop, is that footballers expect fans to be loyal at all times, whatever the circumstances.

It's not fletchers fault he can afford that car or Sunderland chose to pay him 50k a week,

Fans should be venting at their board for offering stupid money for a championship striker,

There is no point in calling for a mass boycott of sky when there likes of the Beeb show such shit,

If sky went bt would step up and pay stupid money if not then virgin so on and so fourth

Of course you don't

Pray tell what this issue is then?

We're talking about a business raking in millions, that is part of an industry raking in billions paying highly specialised contractors a high enough wage to take up employment with said business.

I'll await you're nonsensical babble with cautious anticipation that you may at last prove the theory that if a monkey is given a typewriter, it will eventually make a valid point.

The fans are entitled to feel that it's players actually care about something other than money, something BCFC fans have experienced for the past 4/5 years and something Sunderland fans who pay even more to follow their team in the Premier League have had to put with for far too long.

The problem is Monkeh Sunderland players have now done for countless managers, who have been sacked who was the last Sunderland player sacked?, the players have an obligation to the fans whether they like it or not, perhaps if the Sunderland players were showing the same fight as let's say Palarse  that photo would probably have been ignored or even admired by it's fans.

There is a time to gloat and a time to give the impression that you care.

PS:- They are lucky that they don't currently play for the Champions league holders.

Same in the NFL, Spike

I love they way the Yanks keep their sports under control with wage caps and drafts, so the worst performing teams get first pick of the kids coming out of college. Can't work here though

Only because of greed. One thing the yanks actually do well is cap their sports to make them competitive.
