havanatopia Posted August 8, 2015 Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 Over the last 11 seasons the average points total required to achieve 2nd spot is 87 points (86.2 to be precise). Interestingly the two lowest points tallies over those 11 seasons have been 2012-13 with 79 points when we were relegated on 41 and 2007-08 also with 79 points when we were almost promoted with 74 points. Quite remarkable coincidence! I have said since May that we would end up 2nd and that is what i said for last season a year before that. I am going to stick with that prediction to give us back to back promotions and go with 87 points Who cares about goal difference frankly.. +19 there you go.
