A red card can't be given in a phase of advantage, if that makes sense. The game has to be stopped immediately for a red card.

Two separate yellows can be given. Advantage played for first offence. Then yellow given for second. Two yellows given= red. Seen it happen many times.

Happened in an Ireland game recently and it is actually wrong. You can't be given two yellow cards if an advantage is played. The argument was based on the fact that the player wouldn't commit the second foul if he knew he was going to get book for the first. Therefore you can only book them for one of the two in the same phase on play.

At least that is what was confirmed after the game.

Cotts. saying Kodjia was the serious doubt after missing training for most of the week,

Flint and Smith also absent from training earlier in the week due to injuries sustained against Hull.

Let's hope the gamble with Kodjia pays off today.

We need our top scorer on the pitch as much as possible but sometimes missing one game saves missing four or five.

I just think this might be the sort of game where a recently rested Wilbraham would be very useful.
