Spoons
As above , really how pampered are players these days. I'm sure a coach would have been fine.
Donkeeebles
Why spend hours on a coach when they can fly. No big deal these days

Sure we will use our Bristol sport bus, we tend to go away Thursday onwards for away games.

havanatopia
In all Carey fairness that drive up to Norwich is a real bandstand, I mean bar steward, slow watch; no overtaking for mile upon mile or stuck behind Farmer Giles' tractor or Ted's half baked Norfolk Scrumpy tanker trying to dodge bullets in the opposite lane. It used to be but now all the improvements have completed and it's a dual carriageway all the way with the Barton mills bottle neck now taken out. You can do London to Norwich in 1 and half hours now
Tinmans Love Child
I don't blame them and don't see it as being pampered, every club would do the same if it was feasible, who likes sitting on a coach for hours when you don't need to? Marina's Rolls Royce
So by coach it's between 3 and 4 hrs or 15 mins by plane probably from London City airport as a private charter at a cost of £10-£15k . As Arsenal have an income of near £100 million, it's hardly that surprising and makes perfect sense. Paying £50,000 per week to some of their anonymous reserves- now that's simply stunning and totally nonsensical. If we're gonna have a pop at Premier League excess then surely it starts and finishes with transfer fees and wages?
