Lanterne Rouge
11 goals scored now after the 87th minute, more than in all the first half of games.
MichaelRobartes
Good result for us. Hopefully we can get something off Belgium and Italy will take the day off when they play us. Not holding my breath though!

The lino did incredibly, unbelievably well to not give it offside. Rather than celebrate I shouted "offside" to try and calm mate mates down from the obvious heartbreak I thought would follow. But he was right Hats off to the Lino. Brilliant call. I think it must have been one of the assistants behind the goal, the lino would never have seen it. If so then maybe its worth having them there after all!
PHILINFRANCE
Perhaps of interest to those fans who were in Lille yesterday, there has been flash flooding today to the extent that (in some areas) roads are under feet of water; the Lille fan zone has been closed until tomorrow earliest and there is even mention of France's game against Switzerland on Sunday being under threat if the rain worsens. MigratedRobin
Monday night seems so far away at the moment. Oh well I suppose there will be some more good non-England games between now and then.
22A
Czechs v Croats. Call me old fashioned, but it's pleasing to see the Ref wear traditional black. Flag watch; when the Croats went 1-0 up, an Algerian flag was being waved!
Jack Dawe
Despite all Croatia's fine pass and move, it is two Czech mistakes in losing the ball sloppily in their own half, leaving their back line exposed and wide open, that has "created" Croatia's two goals. We know how the Czech's feel - it is just like watching City last August to mid January.

Lanterne Rouge
Yep. Never saw that coming. Brilliant header from that far out and going away from goal, takes some power and skill that.

MichaelRobartes
What the hell...? Radio commentators noted that a banner was unfurled, perhaps some of the crowd took exception to whatever it said? Huge bang when a firework went off too, apparently very close to a steward. JamesBCFC
Haven't seen the 4th official say how much added time, did I miss it? Edit- very clearly yes, the second I posted the whistle went

JamesBCFC
In fairness to Clattenberg (who is guilty of mistakes in big games) he managed the second half well when there was the flares

TheCulturalBomb
Been somewhat impressed with Rooney for the 2 games, kept the ball well and decent passing forward. Still think Wilshere should be playing there instead, have a feeling he will replace Alli for Slovakia.

Lanterne Rouge
Slaven Bilic really angry about the trouble and thinks it`s probably Dinamo Zagreb fans fighting with Hadjuk Split. He even said in Croatia no-one takes their children to those matches as it isn`t safe. Just an English problem then?

These highly paid superstars have people to deal with that sort of thing. I think I remember reading that some Man Utd import had a number provided by the club that he could ring if he needed a light bulb changing in his house and someone would come round and do it for him!
