Anyone else getting really pissed off with 'will griggs on fire'

Its freemans song, freemans on fire- Freed from desire, will grigg doesn't even go! Its gone viral and everyone has given Wigan fans credit, when we were singing it years before...bastards

It's a strange one isn't it. Completely gone viral yet we've been singing it for a couple of seasons.

Not long got back from a stag do in Krakow and it was being sung everywhere. Quite funny seeing a random city fan looking around for my random voice singing Freeman.

Irrespective of who originally sang it, it has become over-used. 

It's also for a player who has yet to even get on the pitch, so on fire he is not.

Last few times I've been in a club Freed from desire has been played, I don't know the words, so was singing "Freemans on fire" but I could hear a group of lads singing "Will Griggs on fire"

Stevenage created it, we took it when we signed Freeman. It went viral because a Wigan fan sung it whilst recording himself in his bedroom via webcam. The rest is history..

You can buy the will grigg on fire on iTunes. It's gone too far. I do think that this topic has nailed on a will grigg goal opening day though. Cheers.
