Butland will be the long term GK, with Forster pushing him for No1. If you look at the team/squad that played (ish) in the Euros, then ask who would be a guaranteed starter , plus who is a natural leader = no-one ! 3 of 4 full backs did ok, no leaders. CB's not certain to start. Dier , very good but not a leader (yet?). Ali , Lallana , ? No. Strikers, doubt it , and Rooney will struggle to get in when he turns out to be a bit part player at ManYoo. Sam will have to pick the best of a bad bunch or bring in a new face, Drinkwater, Noble? Cahill has as much chance as any but we don't have a Butcher,Robson etc anywhere near the squad.
