189thoughts
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but where do the old BCFC shirts go? There must be hundreds left at the end of every season and they can't be chucked away surely. I'm really after the 2014/15 shirt (hate the new one, like a good collar) and can't find them anywhere on the internet, even on ebay. Any ideas if they're kept around? Robbored
They go to the same place as office biro's go when they mysteriesly disappear - to the old shirt planet.
Spoonbed
Back in the day, we (BCFCSC FC) used to get my ur kits sorted by good old Beryl. Slightly rotund fellas squeezing into the Lime and Purpl kit was never a good look!

My time with the Supporters Club coincided with The Boys From The County Hell (they didn't turn out for us on a Sunday...! These did, though...): Chrissy Hardwick, Harvey someone, Paul Chiddy (class), Shaun Roach and fifteen other top, top fellas. Pretty sure we played in an old City kit, white pinstripes, maybe the 88 kit? We had the yellow and green one, too, for away games away from where we played up on some old windy hill in Bath (up behind the Boathouse pub. Sort of). We played some classy games in them kits, one on the morning of Shrewsbury (a),1-0 Dave Smith late on, the day Dean Horrix died, RIP. Think we played WBA SC, not the Shrews. Can't for the life of me remember much... None of us were rotund, mind. Fit, sharp, athletic...none of us could trap a ball, but we were fit, sharp and athletic in the changing room. Neither is it in the new home red shirt...Saturday there was a plethora of man boobs and love handles sagging in the humid heat, polyester stretching to within an inch of it's life over rotund beer bellies...making many look like over ripe tomato's. At least buy one that fits or buy a mirror ;-)

GrahamC
Thought quite a lot went to Africa for charity. In the past the London Supporters branch team used to get given an old set to play in, I know this because my brother played for them, so my Sunday side managed to borrow a set (circa 2003) and so I wore Nicky Morgan's old shirt (and scored) in a game we played against a French side just outside of Lyon.. Played with chids and Harvey. As you say both quality. I was only 16 back then, but it was a cracking time. Virtually all of us were city fans and used to play other supporters clubs home and away on the morning of the city games.

ApplePress
Back in February my wife and friends had a charity collection at Ashton Gate for Women V Cancer and their bike ride across 3 national parks in Tanzania. Bristol City Community Trust donated some shirts to take when the girls went in June. My wife works in literacy and some children's book publishers donated piles of books for her to take to a local school they were visiting. Guess who got books and BCFC shirts !! It's the first season I ever supported City and I think that's why I'm so fond of the shirts with collars.
