Just wondering who is going or what numbers we're likely to take after last years dire performance away to them? Buzzing for the city to take home the 3 points. Admin Maesknoll Red Posted September 3, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted September 3, 2016 I can recall a trip to Rotherham, reasonable sunny weather and balmy evenings in Bristol, so off we set, T shirts and maybe a Levi jacket or something equally as flimsy. Get to Sheffield and it starts snowing, get to Rotherham and get cattled into the ground by the OB, early, no chance of getting to a warm pub. There was a little caravan in the away end, the sole source of refreshments and heat, it was bloody freezing and I recall buying unfeasable numbers of cups of bland soup, just to hug them to try and keep warm in the freezing conditions of the Northern wastelands. We went 1-0 down IIRC, one of their players gave it the big one and there on received a continual tirade of abuse, especially as we got back to 1-1 and then went on to 1-2 and win.
