The 11 largest Cities that are yet to experience the Prem

According to Yahoo Bristol's population is 380,000, where do they get this from?  Wiki says estimated 2016 at 449,300, Yahoo can never get their facts right!  Anyway some of the 11 are very surprising, surely there are bigger cities/towns who have never been in the prem.   https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/photos/picture-this-the-11-largest-cities-that-are-yet-to-experience-premier-league-football-1475052020-slideshow/p-bristol-city-came-within-p

Very sorry TFR,  never seen it before on here.

Oh yes you have.

It's been done to death many, many times.

What are you trying to do? Rub our noses in it??

We know Bristol under achieves.

Keep this up, and I will send you a bill for 20,000 hair shirts.

Is this what you want / intended??

I can think of many bigger cities that haven't experienced the Prem.

None in England mind.

Mexico City: massive, but not one season in the Prem.

Bristol AND Mexico City: utter losers.

:(

Tape up your knife draw - this is gonna hurt ...........

It does kind of grate on my nerves that two Welsh clubs have managed to get to the Premier League, yet City haven't!

thanks article.  :grr:  :sad26:

Oh well, shouldn't be too much longer to wait.

And we have another Welsh club at the bottom of what has now been rebranded to the English football league.

If we get to the Prem our catchment area is pretty big aroud  1,567,754 people....

Not helped us put 11 premier league players on the pitch though eh?

we haven't got there because we haven't been good enough on and off the pitch simple. Finally starting to look like we might have half a chance.

and yes, been done to death over and over and over....

Not the levels of success we'd like, but at least we've tried!

Oh no I haven't, or I wouldn't have posted it,  like you,  I don't sit at my laptop looking at all the posts everyday and only when I do,  follow the one's that interest me.  So no need to be clever,

That's right - I don't work or pay taxes, I just sit on my computer ALL day.

The 11 hour shift I did yesterday is pure fiction.

Not working today.

Not working tomorrow.

Bristol was built on lazy bastards like me.

:punish:

Uncle TFR (off for a kip, having worn myself out posting)

And just what do you think I have been doing in my 71 years, a hell of a lot more than you will ever do Sonny Jim!   I think it's about time you started to have some respect for members on this forum, as you are always making snidey remarks here.   Don't you think it's about time you grew up? OH! and BTW  , i worked 11 hour days for 4 days a week for 15 years, so it's nothing new to me and it didn't make me act nastily to people.

Surely the Premier League is just another name for Division 1 and we were certainly in that. It's like saying that Man Utd have never won the EFL Cup, or Nottingham Forest the Champions League.

And denigrating the achievements of big clubs, like the Royal Engineers  ;)
