Not usually somebody who spends to much time looking at these sort of things, but with no (decent) football for a couple of weeks, I thought i'd do some delving.

Another bit of proof that at home we don't know when we are beat!!

Great attitude from the players and good switches by LJ and also shows the support that we offer matters too.

Agreed mate, not afraid to change things up. Like Pack and Moore coming off v Forest. Remember reading on here at the time it could be disaster or a stroke of genius. Even against what would appear to be an unpopular decision he goes for it and it often comes off.

That home stat is amazing, but strangely was anyone that nervous about most of those half times? I've been extraordinarily relaxed for some strange reason? Saturday I was convinced we would win after their goal.

Its like when a g** h*** asked me about the Leeds game, I said " city didn't play brilliantly, it wasn't a great game, but actually I really enjoyed it! We played a high pressing game, loads of youngsters and didn't really look as though we would lose"

Confusing times indeed!

Lee Johnson clearly needs an award for his half time team talks. Bravo.

I would double that award though if he would stop being such a tease and deliver his half time speech pre kick off.

Given Lee is a student of communication strategy willing to take days out with surgeons in the NHS and Officers in the British military forces, am I alone in being slightly disappointed this concept has yet to dawn on him?

Got to agree with you at 1-0 down I actually totally believed we would win. Strange times at AG now, great but strange.

i also felt no anxiety from the crowd either, amazing what a bit of confidence brings and of course a top notch striker!

Do the home v away stats show the players play with a bit less fear away and are maybe taking a little while to settle given the bigger home crowds at the Gate this year?

I think its probably more down to how the opposition set up. We can hit teams on the break away from home where as at home, teams are sitting alot deeper. We score the first goal at home for once early on and I think the floodgates would open.

I was basing it on the stats that show neither team seems to like leading at half time.

But as I said, away from home we have been winning or losing in every game at HT. Not a draw in sight. Cardiff like a HT draw at home I'll give you that.
