As NI never qualified for the World Cup or Euros, he never had the chance to shine in anything but club competitions. Liam Brady was another one, injured for Euro 88 which was the only one the ROI qualified for while he was playing. Ryan Giggs too of course. I wonder whether there's ever been a better forward line than Best, Law and Charlton? Based on their international career (and results)...I choose Eto'O. About City...I would say Adomah, who played against Peterborough in the only match I attended at Ashton Gate, in 2011.
