Nogbad the Bad Posted October 25, 2016 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 It's very rare for me to lose my rag at a match but I can't remember ever being so incensed by a ref. He completely ruined the game and what little enjoyment there was to be had from a match which, overly influenced by his fussy interference and poor decisions, became a virtual non event. But for the very welcome late goal and the superb Gerry Gow tributes it was a really drab and irritating afternoon. With inept refereeing making an afternoon's 'entertainment' so maddening for the 90 minutes and, inbetween, a hyped up announcer shouting inanities at the top of his voice, I left the ground for the first time ever thinking the 'match day experience' could actually become intolerable.
