Never to the dark side
As the players tunnel is in the corner of where we are normally situated. I hope Lee comes over us and gives a good clapping and we should do the same. That should drown out any booing. I don't think that Barnsley have a big screen,so I don't think they put an image of Lee on the big screen. So the Barnsley could boo at the image, see all you hoardes at Oakwell. For whatever reason Cryne stuck with him when we were going through that horror run last season , he should have gone 30 seconds after the final whistle at Altrincham for me . Played the most brain dead style of football for the league we were in it's being my displeasure to ever see . Cryne took his departure on the chin and respectfully invited him to the JPT final as his guest , according to a piece I read at the time in the Bristol Post he was treating it as a scouting mission and nothing more . If Cryne hadn't stuck with him last season he wouldn't have got the Bristol job , in fact he'd have being lucky to get another job at all at that time . spudski
I don't get this 'only plays one up front'....do people actually want two players, being as high up the pitch, all the time, as Tammy is? If so...that's just crazy. No one plays like that these days.

No one plays like that these days. two attacking wingers and an player in the hole (attacking midfielder) give flexibility, in effect when going forward we have 3 maybe 4 players "up front" but only 1 when defending, its just peoples mindset set in the ridgid 4-4-2 formation,

In the same way Hull set up at kick off in a 352 formation...but the 'formation' changed every minute of the game. 'Formations' aren't rigid and completely change depending on situations in a game...whether defending, attacking, keeping possession, chasing a game etc, etc. I don't get how fans can't see that. Its when we play the whole first half without that happening that we struggle. How many of those goals came when Tammy was isolated?

Shtanley
I'd like to see Engvall and Tammy on the pitch at the same time as much as possible in future. I think our players would fit a narrow diamond perfectly as was shown in various games last season.
