No LIVE Bristol City games planned from 12 January till 2 February

Never to the dark side

Recommended Posts

From now until new year

9  Live games Aston Villa

8  Live games Brighton and Newcastle

7  Live games Leeds

6  Live games Norwich and Notts Forest

5  Live games QPR

4  Live games Birmingham, Wigan, Derby and Huddersfield

3  Live games Blackburn

2  Live games  Brentford, Wolves, and PNE

1  Live game that no one I guess gives a shit about Fulham, Ipswich, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheff Weds and us.

Notts Forest won 1 game in their last 10 and 20th place but for some reason have 6 live games in November / December

The Jan live games are an absolute joke

So of the ten live 'EFL' games for Jan.

Out of ten, the breakdown is

Championship - 10
League One - 0
League Two - 0

And of those 10, QPR THREE times, Villa twice, Newcastle twice, Leeds twice, Brighton twice, Brentford twice.

So a chance to feature 20 teams from 72 and we get 13 teams from 24 featured. Really poor, that.

Norwich not included either so not the only play off team missed off.

Norwich have 6 between now an New Year ...along with Notts Forest (listed in post above)

Personally its not such a bad thing for us to be a bit of a TV rarity .. keeps us a little below some radars, psychologically maintaining an element of surprise in matches perhaps?

Nice regular KO days and times and, as most people blame live TV football for much of modern football's ill's, its a little hypocritical to wish to add to it.. Sky et al will come calling soon enough as the clubs profile builds, enjoy a little anonymity while we can!

This.

Carlisle and Plymouth are having a great season atm and playing better football than bloody Villa. They should have been featured.

Sadly it's a business and they can't see past viewing figures, instead of putting actual quality on the box to watch
