RedM
I can't make up my mind if I like this or not. I appreciate the structure, but it looks very church like to me. Probably is nice as a building, but just not for a football stadium.

The Hungarian Football Academy decided to build a UEFA category III football stadium suitable for hosting Hungarian league matches and junior tournaments as well as different international competitions. The construction of the new arena started in 2008. The structure was designed to fit into a large plan designed by famous Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz, which includes a dormitory for the Football Academy, professional and medical center and canteen, designed by Makovecz’ former student, Tamás Dobrosi. The 3,400-seat arena features nearly 1,000 tons of wood, around 80 percent of which was manufactured by Austrian timber manufacturer Rubner Holzbau using mid-grade and glulam, while Hungarian timber mill Sokon completed the remaining fabrication and construction. Their dedication to creating an organic structure Hungary can be proud of has resulted in one of the most attractive stadiums ever built.
jimgoeswest
Capacity of 3400. It would be big enough for the pikeys. They could always hang some washing lines between the stanchions to make it feel more homelier.
BCFC_Dan
Wasn't that built under order of their controversial prime minister Vikto Orban for his local village team that he used to play for? The population of the town is even less than that of Nailsworth yet the government spent £10m building it a stadium. Doesn't stop it being an attractive stadium of course. I think the stadium is fantastic to look at, but is it a practical design with such a small capacity?

I don't think that's the case these days. The timber would likely be treated with a flame retardant chemical in advance. Although I do find it strange that you would design such an elaborate stadium for such a small capacity.
