alexukhc
Just waiting for my lift to the game, my mates are Reading fans, coming in from Tadley, got me thinking isn't that where Dean Horrix lived? And what could've become of him? hope you're resting easy up there fella

Port Said Red
An lncident that briefly United City and Millwall fans as I remember. I think that gives those that weren't around an idea of how deeply we all felt it, even though he was here only briefly.
Norn Iron
Indeed. There was a testimonial wasn't there? I remember Dean's two sons bring mascots.
COACH2
Went to the testimonial game held at the old den, stood in the Millwall end wearing my City shirt, was accepted but was advised not to do that again

Tin Soldier
I was at the Shrewsbury game. The club was on the up after some difficult years previously. Hit me like a ton of bricks on the Sunday am. Think this was a promo season but I may be wrong? Thanks for posting.

Yes , simply & well described if I recall correctly he looked decent for us in his all too short time and seemed to be immediately popular with the fans RIP Dean
CyderInACan
A terrible piece of news in the midst of an amazing season. I heard the news as "Blue Savannah" by Erasure was on the radio; something I'll never forget. Still listen to that song and think back to that March day in 1990. RIP Dean. Goal came from a corner kick if I remember rightly. I thought Dean took the kick but my memory is not infallible and I'd been sampling the local fayre...
