I've always said the same. If he took a touch or chested that ball down, he would not have shot, yet alone scored.

There was a chance in the first half to have a pop from distance but he done his usual cut back inside. Was having a moan at him for not having a go more often. Then he produced that in the second half!

It does get better and better every time you see it. It didn't loop or bend, just straight as an arrow which flew like a rocket! 

It gets said a lot but had Messi scored that they would be talking about one of his greatest goals ever.

What about the skill & cross that directly led to the pen?? Or just after the goal the skill & cross that created a great chance for Tammy that was well saved?? Never let facts cloud an entrenched view though.
