LJ seems to rely on the players already here rather than his own signings as E.g. Tomlin already in on loan so signings him had momentum. HLR Posted December 31, 2016 Report Share Posted December 31, 2016 Brownhill was a positive for me last night - worked hard defensively, looked to get forward whenever possible, broke up play, started off attacks & wasn't afraid to fire in a shot. Set pieces weren't bad either. Had a really solid game in the middle of the park & would like to see him get a run of games, for me he's offered more vs wolves and Ipswich alone than Smith has since his return & O'Neil has for a good 6 weeks now. Maybe these players that LJ claims are for the future & aren't ready now, are indeed ready and deserve a fair crack. As one of these so called players for future outshone comfortably seasoned pro's ala Tomlin, Wilbraham, pretty much whole Ipswich XI etc yesterday....
