Member of The Easybeats and teamed up with Harry Vanda to form a very successful song writing duo in Australia. Some of us who lived in Oz will also remember him in the band "Flash and the Pan" who had a great song out called "Down among the Dead Men" which I think from memory was about the Titanic. Had a few other good tunes out also.

Bit wrong there Major, he formed The Easybeats and wrote "Friday On My Mind". His younger brothers formed AC/DC. But still a loss.
