Ska Junkie
I was following England home and away during Grahams' tenure. Although it wasn't a happy time, Graham always came across as a proper gentleman and put his heart and soul in to the role. R.I.P.
Fiale
Felt really sorry for him the way the Media tore him apart and tried to make him a joke/belittle him. Have fun on that eternal pitch..

He was indeed a fantastic pundit, no frills (bit like his football!) but said it like it was and provided fantastic insight and opinion. Always enjoyed listening to him. RIP Mr. Taylor. RIP Graham He deserved a lot of criticism for some of his selections (dropping Gascoigne for Cowans, revolving door right backs at Euro 92, Pallister at full back, Carlton Palmer generally, etc.) but I concur it was all too personal, and typical of the British press. southvillekiddy
Very sad to hear this. RIP Graham. Loved the way he was always ready to laugh at himself - Turnip etc. The thing that sticks in my head was when the assistant referee at a World Cup game (?) failed to penalise Ronald Koeman for as blatant a last man annihilation on Linekar (?) as you will ever see. Taylor says to the assistant "You realise you've just lost me my ****ing job you ****ing ****er" (Or words to that effect) Priceless he was

Barry Sheene
When he was England manager he once joked the Princess Diana had rung him up and said thank you because she was not getting on the front pages of the newspaper anymore. Proper football manager. R.I.P
