Apparently "the shit" give players 5 seconds to produce and then start booing, especially if they are ex-gas. Sags are all over this forum at the moment and this is a Sag comment all day long. There were a couple of attempts to start " We want Johnson out" chants which had the effect of an immediate response of (some) booing and counter chants of "Johnson says get behind the team". it was a scrappy game where we the fans could- if we were perceived by the players to be turning on them - had a negative effect. Confidence amongst the players is fragile. Whether you want the manager to go or not, it seemed obvious to (most?) of us there that during the actual play, we needed to scream our support for the team. ...and hey, it worked as we got a break in the last few minutes and scored from a scrambled corner where the ref should have given a goal kick.
