Fiale Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Apparently they are becoming less common for for several years you can buy key chains that contain live newts, terrapin's etc in a coloured liquid - where you can attach your keys, carry it around and watch it die. Gazred Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 That's just awful. Was lucky enough on a trip to Malaysia to spend an evening with a turtle protection officer. They guard the beaches where eggs are laid. It's a damn shame when you learn that it can take 20+ years for one to reach breeding age and the eggs are sold to be eaten etc for just £1.
