Roadrunner
Just spotted on Sky Sports, Joe Jordan joins Middlesbrough to assist temp manager Steve Angrew. That sounds a wise move by their board, if only.
Red-Robbo
Gotta agree there, mate. An older, wiser consigliere type here could save the season. Clearly he didn't rate Pembo, but it would be hard not rate someone who had been there and done it all.

GrahamC
Is he "young, hungry or dynamic", though? The last thing our club needs is to bring in someone like him, with a huge number of contacts across all areas of football, a vastly experienced coach who lives within a mile of our ground, eh? For a start he might make the present "head coach" look like the absolute bluffer that he clearly is.

Hampshire reds
Why did we not get big Joe in to help. Unbelievable. Another missed opportunity by the back stabber

Another missed opportunity by the back stabber Clearly, not good enough for us. Are Middlesborough challenging for Europe? Nope. Anyhows, Jamie Mac is far better (and doesn't pose any threat to the Manager as a potential interim boss). We're well and truly stuck with our current 'project manager' I fear. Even the 'soft option' of appointing an experienced assistant - even an ideal local candidate - has been vetoed. Tell you what, LJ must have massive confidence in himself and has somehow convinced others that he going to have a great end-of -season run 'cause this will turn right nasty if he balls it up. At the time many City fans reckoned it was wrong to appoint JJ the second time. If it wasn't many, then it was certainly the vociferous minority.
