italian dave
Don't know about the pen, but they were two very good advantages played in the lead up to our first two goals. I thought he was good, and anyway, after having had two refs apologise to us this season it's about time we had something go our way.

City were 7/4 just to win the game so there is no chance 4-0 would be 100/1 !! Wigan are 225/1 to win tomorrow 4-0 so if anything 100/1 seems miserly! Was an absolutely certain penalty. A soft foul in terms of scale, he didnt get hacked down from behind, but it was a definite foul. If it was in our box Id have been desperately hoping the ref didnt blow the whistle. The referee gave some seemingly innocous fouls, but also played advantage well and was reasonably consistant. So a decent, if unspectacular performance from him. Edit- however if it was in our box I would have had a terrible view being sat in the South Stand

I think a few things have gone our way... most notably the fact we've played well for 2 sets of 45 minutes. On that note - when was the last time we won both halves of a football match? Fulham away? dereks no1
Funny how we all see the game differently. Did nobody pick up on the fact he missed a blatant pass back from them? Also lots of niggly fouls.

Haven't seen a referee performance go like that for a long time. I'm not saying we didn't deserve a win, but I wouldn't be best pleased with him if I were Huddersfield. Agreed. I believe it was Ipswich at home. Penalty at the Atyeo end and a screamer from Freeman in front of the South Stand. Cant recall one since then. Offside
I thought the ref had a decent game overall and was fair. To me it looked like a definite penalty at the time but now I've seen the highlights I'm not so sure.
