He is solid and definetly a decent midfielder at this level, been a fall guy with others for no reasons at time , bit like Brownhill, hasn't actually played as well as he can yet since coming back but adds energy and calmness when needed. Lanterne Rouge
He certainly did a job on one of the best midfielders in the league on Friday - Aaron Mooy. The bloke never had a kick all game.

JBFC II
He's a solid midfielder but if we are going to try and push for better things next year we need someone with a bit extra quality, still rate him though
nickolas
I find it odd how he is slated. Calm with the ball and dominant in the air infront of the defence. Yes he doesnt score goals but thats not his game and if it was he wouldnt be playing for us! he was actually quiet first half on Friday but better 2nd. he would be one of first on my team sheet every week. CheddarReds
He's one who'd stay in the championship if we went down I think. Smith and O'Neil too similar and Pack is the ball player in there, has a good range of passing, good in the air, good engine and defensively sound. Only complaints would be not very agile and very one footed.

slartibartfast
Same as it ever was..... going back since the mid 60's there as always a fall guy , Low, Wimshurst ,ad infinitum whilst the crowds darling at the time can do no wrong ! Selred
Cracking through ball to Bryan before Flints goal. Perfectly weighted.

Quite, Gerry Sweeney used to get it too yet what we would give to have him now. More recently, Jamie McCombe wasn't appreciated until he was gone and it took years to get a decent centre half. Garland-sweden
Good player and hard working. Now he is a starter and he is in the team to stay. Sure he will score before the season is over. He got the strenght and workraite we need.

zider'ed
If he could add a few mores goals to his game he would be a top all round midfielder, but I suppose his job is to mainly sit deep. I've always rated Pack, as been said already very underrated.
downendcity
If Packs back pack causes him back problems, will his back pack up so that Pack has to back track on wearing his back pack,as if he doesn't he will have to consider packing it all in? Alternatively, he could drop back to left back or right back , which will cause less strain on Pack's back, with or without Pack's back pack, and enable him to get back to doing what Pack does best? Does his missus make him a packed lunch every day and if he doesn't eat it does Pack take Pack's packed lunch back to Mrs Pack for her to unpack? Apologies, but a bottle of red wine with dinner causes mad moments such as this to occur!

Roe
Love me some Marlon Pack. He's been class for us ever since Wade Elliott started to slip (no pun intended) and he took over his place in the team in the 2nd half of our great season. Glad to have him back in the 11. BRISTOL86
Had one of the Championship's best midfielders in his pocket the whole night. Class act who - because he does the unfashionable work - rarely gets the credit he deserves.
Super
I didnt think he was that good tbh. We do look more solid with him and GON though.
Unan
Plays well if we are, when we aren't he can't string a pass together unless it's packwards and is always caught out on the counter.
yardy
Good player, never afraid to have the ball and always gives his all. His strength and presence in midfield is a big help to us and i think we miss him when he's not playing. Not a fashionable eye catching player but he does a lot of dirty work the goes unnoticed. Nuno Gomes
I too rate the guy and struggle to understand why he has not featured. Has all the qualities you want for a midfielder shame he lacks pace.

BITW
Easy to say in hindsight but his omission during our recent terrible run was one of the biggest mysteries to me. First midfielder on the team sheet for me.

ciderbeans
Would say hegeler is the step up replacement for pack but he isn't yet used to the pace of the English game. In the formation we played against Huddersfield, I'm sure hegeler could have done a similar job in midfield.
