Season Card renewal (Merged)

Red Tel

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else had trouble renewing their season card, on-line, this morning? I click on 'renew' and after signing in the screen switches to my personal details and history. I can't see any information on how to pay, and my basket is empty. Am I being thick, or have Bristol Sports cocked it up again?

No, don't think it's working yet. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to give them time to sort it out. You can tick the boxes against your ST but then there doesn't seem anything to click to take it to the next step.

Thanks AF. I think I'll wait 'til tomorrow as well.

no problems what so ever when i did my sisters familys, infact a hell of a lot smoother then last season,

Once you hit renew it goes to your details so you can confirm it, you can't pick payment option (ie monthly) until you go to pay for it, if you pick monthly it actually warns you that an extra charge is incured, ie: £345 ticket has a £25 charge added to make it £370 or £37 a month over 10 months, like last season,

I see that when I clicked through the email reminder I got this morning there was a little surprise waiting. Nice touch. I won't spoil it - but I do wonder how they'll cope with the longer surnames.

PS Still irked by this 'advanced' malarkey - it should be 'advance'. Bloody amateurs :)

Done mine about mid-day all seemed fine. Only took about 10 minutes.

Same here, all renewed.

God, what have I done? What am I going to tell Mrs RRH when she gets home?

Do you reckon if I asked BS they`d show the transaction on my debit card statement as mail order gay pornography to save me any embarrassment?

Don't tell her it can be our dirty little secret

Thought it was really easy to be honest

It was easy once I found them.

I expected them to be under reserved tickets in the ticket section, not buried behind a small url link.  Still got them now so all good.  Hope I see more games than I have this season, but at least I have missed most of the losing run!

Where are the obligatory "not renewing" or "LJ out first" posts?

Bit boring.

But on this matter, should be renewing shortly :)

Glad that it seems the online process is working fine.

OK I'll start you off then. I won't be renewing while LJ remains in charge as the football served up has generally been poor for months. I expect he will be gone by the time Half Season tickets go on sale mid next season so may get one of those if we appoint a proper leader.

A bit drastic to miss the first half of our next promotion season just because you don't like the head coach.

When you see some of the offers clubs have got for next season, the likes of Bradford, Rochdale and Huddersfield, makes you realise how very much it's business first with Bristol Sports.

I will not be renewing as stated previously. I believe with the utter shit served up this season that SL and his Bristol Sports mob could have done a lot more to entice people back and make things more affordable for your average family man.

I'll restate what I've said previously.

I don't want an ST for League One and unless I have a brain seizure, will wait until I know which league we will be in. And as a dual ST holder, it now seems certain that Bristol Rugby will be relegated also so I will pick games without an ST.

Following this season's shambles at both clubs and after sixty seven years supporting both clubs, I really do wonder that I should call it a day and wander along to Burnham Rugby or Weston Super Mare FC for my Saturday fixes.
