You're having a lovely time aren't you?  Textbook afternoon for you.

I am somewhat frustrated with our current manager, if that is what you are referring to.

I do not enjoy games where City are not showing any fight, against average opposition.

We are better than this.

International breaks have done us no favours this season.

Not saying that there might be other factors involved, but early season momentum was certainly lost completely after the first break and it sound like a different team playing today compared with Huddersfield.

Seriously people need to stop living in denial.... there are teams who have far more international players than us who are able to get a result. There is no more excuses of a lack of depth to be used, the players we have are more than capable at playing at this level so what is the one consistent issue that we have..... our tactics, which are applied by our coach.

Our team looks great one week and p*** poor another. A good example of a manager coming in with a set mind on how we're going to play is Cotterill. He came in, played 3-5-2, got the players to understand it and whilst we had a few blips we were far more consistent. The only issue Cotterill has was his conflict with the board and his refusal to try something new when we hit a rut of poor form. LJ is the complete opposite, he changes things far too often and doesn't seem to know what his plan actually is, he's basically week in week out trying to reconfigure what he wants the team to do.

Johnson has to go, as much as the 4-0 result was fantastic it was a flash in the pan and this is more in line with what we've had all season. I'm all for sticking with a manager but sticking with someone who shows no sign of having a vision of what he's trying to achieve is just going to end badly for us. The board should have sacked him and taken the plunge and got an experienced manager in, not a coach, a manager, instead, they've stuck with the bloke who has friends in high places in the club but seems completely lost in what he's trying to achieve. Now we're in a place where what is done is done and we have to ride it out and just hope that we can get a few wins before the season in over and the other teams will mess up.

This team has clearly given up on manager, season and club

Played well on tv hoping for good move in summer

Personally see little prospect of Championship football, let alone Premiership, with current regime in charge

I forecast one more win, at Brighton in front of tv cameras !!

Can't comment on the poster you are having a pop at but many of us are sick and tired to the back teeth having a team with no backbone and no tactical nous to support who, in the main, let us down week after week. This after a considerable sum of money for a club like us has been spent on it and whilst you may say there are plenty of other clubs in the Championship who have spent more, and you may be right, the money we have spent cannot even get us above the mighty Burton Albion as things stand....with the greatest of respect to them a club that doesn't have the proverbial pot to piss in.

Not many of us take pleasure from that although there are a few apologists who seem top think we should.

What an awful half. City are back to their ponderous worst with comatose defending from set pieces for both goals.

Bryan is attracted to the second ball for the first goal and leaves Canos completely unmarked and the second results from more ball watching from a corner.

Bryan has been poor for quite a while now. If only we had a full international LB to replace him. Oh wait a minute........

You're right, our team looks good one week!

We're so square at the back, that Brentford are playing the ball inside the full back area for a midfield runner, time after time. We need to flood midfield and stop them from playing, because by dropping off in the final third at the present rate we'll get hammered.

I'm not in denial, just stating a simple fact.

I did say there are other factors involved, one of which is LJ's management, chopping and changing team selection and tactics. However, after the Huddersfield performance and result we could have done with another game the following Tuesday when the players were still feeling the buzz of the win.

Of course Brentford had the same international break, but they haven't had the sort of appalling run that we had at the end of 2016 and the beginning of this year, so the impact of the break would not have been the same for them as it appears to have been for us.

We are 2-0 down and Fielding is MOTM. Horrible first half.

Probably the match is already finished...but LJ (out!) should try some subs: Tomlin didn't create anything,O'Neill is not winning tackles, Bryan is playing badly and he's booked...so I'd bring them out, giving space to a striker (Wilbs/Taylor), a midfielder (Hegeler/Reid) and a defender (Magnusson), or a striker and two midfielders.
