Lrrr
Dream on, he views himself firmly as a prem manager and wouldn't drop to a team struggling to stay in the division below.

cidered abroad
Someone who gives the impression of being itk, told me that a while ago earlier this year, SL had a meeting with a former manager, who is well described as being vertically challenged, about the possibility of coming in on a short contract to keep us up. You can all probably work out who that may be. Myself, I'd prefer Santa Claus than short managers with big egos.
Taz
Pay him what wants, and if he keeps us up, double it, nah triple it for next season.
...
I must say I like this thread. Shame it is at least four months late, and Alan would not touch this mess with a shitty stick.

Spike
It would have been a push at the beginning of the season even with promise of a big transfer budget, now, not a chance in hell. Pardew can do better and he knows it.
TheCulturalBomb
Pardew would laugh at the phone call. Then laugh himself to sleep for the next few months until he has his next Premier League job.

Cardy
6 game contract with a £1m staying up bonus. He would snap Lansdown's hand off.
daored
Mentioned before, our next manager should be the guy in the opposition dug out tonight. He's turned Preston into a team with an outside chance of the play offs. He's spent hardly any money, appears to an outsider to be able to coach both players and a team and get them improved. Grayson for me.
