redsince1994
Awful news. Met him at Glasgow airport once, one of the security clearly wanted his autograph but didn't know if they were allowed to ask and he just stood there taking the piss before handing over a signed scrap of paper. Was absolutely hilarious, really good to see. RIP
RaspberryRed
Really Sad news. Same age as me makes you realise the fragility of life. RIP and thinking of those close to him His last tweet choked me Gave a homeless girl £10 in Dalston last night. She didn't ask or beg. Random impulsive act from me. Not gonna lie it felt good. #Dosomethingkind

Sweeneys Penalties
a minutes silence at Villa Park on Sunday...if the Blues fans opt to abuse that silence, it'd put an extra and unhelpful edge on what is already a very important fixture
Judda
Shocking. Always rated him as a player. Unlucky not to get more caps for England...
BanburyRed
Very sad news. Way too young. Another underrated footballer, by all accounts a very decent person too, see his last tweet about giving £10 to a homeless girl simply because he wanted to. Condolences to his wife, children & family, previous clubs. Just goes to show that fitness & age are no barrier if it's your time. Sad. #gonetooearly

Septic Peg
Such sad news. Remember him from a Panini sticker book or two! Was a great player for Villa. RIP Ugo. Thoughts are with his family.
Davefevs
8 hours ago, Red Right Hand said: He should have been but he was one of those players who was unlucky to have a lot of great players around in his position at the time - Adams, Campbell, Southgate etc. Good shout. Shows how lackimg in decent CBs we are these days. Seem to recall that Villa poached him for a very low fee from WBA back in the day.
