BobBobSuperBob
Get a bit bored of the Ronaldo & Messi love fest at times but watched El Classico tonight and Messi dug Barcelona out for a vital 3-2 away win His two finishes were world class and worth a watch Wow And lunatic Ramos got himself sent off again
Lanterne Rouge
What a game that was, talk about having everything. Five superb goals including three goal of the season contenders, Ronaldo misses an open goal, some blinding saves and Sergio Ramos sent off for the 22nd time in his career. It doesn`t usually disappoint and tonight was no exception.

yardy
Cracking entertainment and much less play acting / cheating than normal el classico's!
ballwinningcentrehalf
It is almost such a normality now that these individual performances don't always get the credit they deserve. Be under no illusions, what Messi did tonight was pure, footballing genius. We are all extremely lucky to be here to witness an era where two of the best players to ever play the game continually push themselves to extreme levels to try and 'one-up' each other. Alex_BCFC
Both of them unreal but Messi is slightly better for me. Just incredible players. Won't be seeing two players like this for a while - players who can score 50/60 a season.

Slightly disagree that it rarely disappoints- I was only telling my footy mad daughter before the game how often it is 90 minutes of play acting and cheap fouls but this time it was actually 2 teams going at it without the theatrics. I think the ref deserves much credit for that - he let a lot of silly niggly tackles go and ignored the play acting. Ramos still thinks it is the mid 70s - old videos of Norman Hunter is porn to him !!

Sweeneys Penalties
Messi is just the "go to" greatest. He is the best player I've ever seen...and Ive seen Best, Cruyff, Maradona and Pele. Dont underestimate Ivan Rakatic though....that was a top strike too. As for those who knock Sergio Ramos.....you'd take him at Ashton Gate wouldn't you? He'd quickly be a cult hero
