Up The City!
Many of you will know Bristol Fundraiser Darren Sims (Daz) (He lives in Hul) he often performs at Ashton Gate for both the rugby and football and is a massive City fan (he is performing before the Birmingham game) On Sunday he ran the London Marathon for Variety - The children's charity and has raised over 5k. Unfortunately on the day of the marathon and the day after and some of yesterday the Virgin giving site was inaccessible for most so out of the 15k runners who were running for charities have missed out on potential donations due to the site being down. Here is some links of Daz appearing on Sky News and in the Bristol Post, Please can you share as Daz has took on the fight to receive compensation for all the affected charities. http://news.sky.com/story/virgin-money-giving-adds-10-to-london-marathon-donations-after-website-crash-10850323 http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/bristol-fundraiser-daz-sims-loses-35434 If anyone also has any contacts to the national media please can you get in contact.
